Alinto webmail update – New version 4.4.1

 

Alinto webmail version 4.4.1 is now online. Here is a summary of new features:

New presentation of attachements:  When you receive an email with attachments, a paperclip appears up right of this email. The number placed side by side of the paperclip indicate you the number of attachments. these attachments are listed at the end of the email. When you click on the paperclip icon, this one sends you back to the part of your email containing all attachments. If you want, you can:

1. To visualise each attachment one by one ;
2. To upload each attachment one by one ;
3. To upload all attachments in .zip format.

Remote access:

1. Mailbox: This space regroups useful informations allowing user to define the parameters of its mailbox on a software (Outlook^©, Thunderbird^©, Mail^©) or to access it since a mobile terminal. You can save datas of IMAP severs but also of SMTP and POP servers ( it depends of your platform configuration). These informations are available on the "Remote access" page, available clicking on "Settings" situated up right of the webmail, then clicking on "Messaging" tab.

2. Calendar: This space regroups useful informations allowing user to consult its calendar on a software (Thunderbird^© / Lightning^©, iCal^©) or to access it since a mobile terminal. You can save the url allowing the connection through the Caldav protocol. These informations are available on the "Remote access" page, available clicking on "Settings" situated up right of the webmail, then clicking on "Calendar" tab.

3. Contacts: This space regroups useful informations allowing user to consult its contacts or/and its directory on a software abiding the LDAP protocol (Outlook^©, Thunderbird^©) or to access it since a mobile terminal. You can save datas allowing the connection through the LDAP protocol. These informations are available on the "Remote access" page, available clicking on "Settings" situated up right of the webmail, then clicking on "Contacts" tab.

Contacts and directory are available for consultation in « read only » access, you can't modify, add or delete records.

 

Domains sharing : Except portals, you can share your calendar with body of your domain writing the adress *@yourdomain.ext.

 

  Customization of the sms tracker sms: By default, the sender number displayed on the adressee phone matches to our service number (4 numbers). However, you can activate the number customization with the international format (ex. : 33600000000). A click is enough to desactivate this customization.
